🌱 Not every product deserves a place on the shelf.

We believe every product should earn its place.

Not because it's trendy.
Not because it's the cheapest.

But because it offers real value.

Better quality.
Greater consistency.
A clearer story.
A healthier choice.

That's why we carefully select every grower, every harvest and every product before it becomes part of our assortment.

Because the right assortment doesn't happen by chance.

Deep in the coconut groves of Thailand, thousands of young coconuts grow under the tropical sun, nourished by nature and harvested at exactly the right moment.

This is where the journey of our starts. Not in a factory, not in a warehouse, but at the source. By working closely with our growers and visiting them regularly, we ensure the quality, consistency and purity that our customers expect.

From Thailand’s coconut plantations to shelves across Europe.

🌱 Not your typical traders.

The fresh produce industry has always been about relationships, trust and consistency. But we believe it should also be about innovation, curiosity and looking ahead.

That’s exactly how Rick and Helien built The Plant Based Traders.
Always exploring new opportunities. Always close to growers. Always looking for products that help customers stand out in the market.

From Portugal to Thailand and beyond, they combine over 30 years of industry experience with a fresh perspective on what the future of produce can look like.
Because standing still has never been part of the plan.

🍠 BBQ baked Bellevue sweet potato. Wrap a Bellevue sweet potato in aluminium foil and bake it on the BBQ (or in the oven) for about 45–60 minutes at 200°C, until soft and creamy inside.

Slice it open and fill with:
• feta
• sun-dried tomatoes
• parsley
• olives

Finish with a little olive oil, black pepper and salt. The natural sweetness of Bellevue pairs perfectly with the salty feta and Mediterranean flavours.

👉 This is exactly the kind of versatility consumers are looking for. Ready to add Bellevue sweet potatoes to your assortment?
