Contest Yachts Contest Yachts Three generations of yachting innovation... and two new models for 2023! And they are not to be missed.

At Contest Yachts, Europe’s leading luxury performance bluewater sailing yacht constructor and one of the longest-running participants at this exhibition, we’re delighted to be back at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2023 with the joint world-premiere of two brand-new yachts, the aft cockpit Contest 49CS and centre cockpit Contest 50CS. Two extraordinary fifty-footers presenting distinctly different formats for personalised family-and-friends performance bluewater sailing. The 49CS is the first twin aft cabin Contest at this length and both the 49CS and 50CS are Contest’s first yachts with the option of all-electric propulsion, uniquely engineered with a completely new Torqeedo and BMW based system delivering true bluewater range.

Check out the finessing in the interior outfitting of this beautiful 15-metre Contest 50CS, from the immaculate grain matching and wrap-around radiused corners of the joinerwork, to the shaping, depth and detailing in the upholstery and panelling, and the sense of space and light made ocean-practical with handholds and support all around. Perfection!

From first overview to detailed inspection, there are just so many reasons to admire and adore the 20-metre Contest 67CS. And all with the peace of mind that comes with Lloyd’s Register full certification. Think bluewater, think Contest.

Well, what a weekend! Good sailing, good company and plenty to catch up on – including any boats in front! – at this year’s Sevenstar Contest Meeting Mallorca, sailed from Palma’s exquisite Club de Mar.

Our thanks to everyone who joined us on the water, at the evening parties and, of course, on the dance floor! It’s always a pleasure to get everyone together, and last weekend was a splendid way to celebrate the occasion.

See you next year, 30 September – 2 October!
