The last step in the process entailed applying the new fabric, which was made of 75% sustainable h**p yarn, which makes it water repellent 🌊

Part three of the Cuca armchairs designed by José Zanine Caldas!

The original armrest no longer fitted the frame appropriately, but instead of making new ones, we chose to align them, with success.

We did make custom molds for the sides of the chair, which were not included in the original chair. These were made of wood and then upholstered with felt. We used upholstery nails instead of staples.

Mattress is shaped to ideally fit the pillow, which fades away into about half the size of the mattress and is fixed with leather belts.
