SEACONTRACTORS x HEEREMA | SEA BANCKERT underway with Heerema jacket

On 30 August, our Sea Banckert departed from Vlissingen East, towing a Heerema jacket towards the North Sea.

Another great project for Sea Banckert, supporting offshore operations and putting her AHTS capabilities to work.

A big thank you to Heerema and everyone involved in the operation. We wish Sea Banckert and her crew a safe and successful operation at sea.

Our shore-based team stepped aboard for a tour of the vessel and to meet the crew. Great to see Sea Banckert in Vlissingen and get a closer look at life and operations on board.

SEACONTRACTORS x VARD | SEA EVERTSEN underway with Newbuild 969

Our SEA EVERTSEN is currently towing Newbuild Hull 969, from Vard Shipyard Tulcea in Romania to VARD Brattvaag in Norway.

During the voyage, the convoy passed through the Bosporus Strait, one of the world’s busiest and most iconic waterways. An impressive setting to capture SEA EVERTSEN and the tow in action.

A big thank you to VARD, Fotoio Istanbul and everyone involved in the operation. We wish SEA EVERTSEN and her crew a safe continuation of the voyage to Norway.

SEACONTRACTORS X KMC 2026 | This Saturday, we took part in the annual Koos Moerenhout Classic in Steenbergen. Together with our valued clients and partners, we enjoyed a fantastic day of cycling, connection, and conversation.

With perfect sunny weather accompanying us throughout the day, we set off in two groups, tackling either the 85 km or 125 km route. After crossing the finish line, we rounded off the day with a relaxed BBQ, drinks, and great company.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this edition such a success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Seacontractors X Vlissingen Maritiem | Op zaterdag 6 juni openen wij de deuren van onze loods aan de Visserijkade 95 in Vlissingen voor publiek!

Kom kennis maken met de maritieme sector, trek een volledige PPE-outfit aan en ga op de foto. Voor de kids zijn er leuke activiteiten zoals een springkussen en kleurplaten. En natuurlijk kun je ook genieten van onze signature bolus.

SEA BANCKERT | Sea Banckert has successfully completed her Special Survey. Also known as the class-renewal survey, this mandatory inspection is carried out every five years to verify that the vessel’s structure, systems, equipment, and essential auxiliary machinery are in satisfactory condition. This also provided the perfect opportunity to present her in full Seacontractors colours.

Thank you to the dedicated crew for their hard work in preparing Sea Banckert for her next assignment. She is now promptly available in Malta and we are pleased to receive any enquiries at [email protected].

SEA SENTOSA | Since joining the Seacontractors fleet in late 2023, Sea Sentosa has been on the move, from West Africa to the Americas and the Mediterranean.

This drydock marked the first opportunity to present her in full Seacontractors colours, and what a transformation it is! As she finalizes her drydock in Malta, she will soon depart for the Gulf of Mexico for her next assignment.

Voor ons hoofdkantoor in Vlissingen zoeken wij een Crewing Operations Officer met affiniteit voor de maritieme sector en internationale bemanningsplanning.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de bemanning van meerdere schepen binnen onze vloot. Je zorgt dat elk schip voldoet aan de geldende bemannings- en certificeringseisen en organiseert wereldwijde crew changes. Je bewaakt documentatie, planning en naleving van STCW-, MLC- en vlagstaatregelgeving.

Je werkt nauw samen met operations, projectteams, uitzendbureaus en internationale agentschappen en levert een directe bijdrage aan de veilige en betrouwbare inzet van onze bemanning.

Last Saturday, we took part in the Open Day at the Maritiem en Logistiek College De Ruyter and it was a great day all around. In this aftermovie, you’ll get a glimpse of our stand and the atmosphere during the event.

As usual, we brought Zeeuwse bolussen, a Seacontractors tradition at fairs and open days – always a good conversation starter!

We had many valuable conversations with students and visitors about careers at Seacontractors, internships, and opportunities within the maritime and offshore sector. We also shared insights into Seacontractors’ new direction, including our focus on larger vessels and the continued growth of our fleet and projects.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a bolus, and a look into our world. And of course, thanks to our team for the great energy throughout the day.
