In the Ha ‘Meginim forest our client desired to upgrade a part of the existing forest roads in such a way it could resist the structural damage due to the water flow caused by heavy rains and retain it’s natural look.

It was highly important to respect the natural water management and therefor no other drainage system was allowed. In this way the water will flow away in a natural way over the new road.

The project was finished fulfilling all the requirements of the client and was very pleased with the new final road.

The existing roads located in Sadská, Czech Republic,
are reconstructed by constructing a RoadCem
stabilization layer and an asphalt wearing coarse. The
urban road is situated near houses and garages, so it
was important to reduce the construction time and
hindrance for the inhabitants to a minimum.

Prior to mixing the RoadCem and cement with the insitu
soil, the existing asphalt wearing coarse had to be
crushed by a milling machine. Based on the laboratory results, the dosage of RoadCem was 1,2 kg/m3 and 70 kg/m3 cement.

After the construction of the RoadCem stabilization
layer, the inhabitants could access the parking area in
the next morning. One week later, the bituminous
wearing coarse was applied.

In the mountains near the city of Taiyuan in China, a type3, (secondary) road was reconstructed with RoadCem.

The use of RoadCem was chosen due to the short construction time and short hardening time, as alternative roads are limited in the mountains, the traffic had to be allowed to drive over the road during the construction as much as possible. The existing road profile had to be elevated. This was done with local siltysand soil.

Near the city of Taiyuan in China, a type 4 road was
constructed with RoadCem. Due to the construction
approach enabled by working with RoadCem, the
government’s aim in reducing the Carbon dioxide
emissions significantly during the construction of the
roads was achieved. Using RoadCem confirmed again the
ability to deliver a high quality construction with an
economical solution for the client. The road was made in
an area were the local soil is a silt soil.
