Dear followers, customers, and friends,
After long and careful consideration, it's time for change. I will stop making bags and Fairphonecases.
Over the past few years, I haven’t been working with the same enthusiasm as I did in thebeginning, and lately, I realized I no longer enjoyed it. Additionally, I noticed I was gettingstressed from the uncertainties of being an entrepreneur, which stifled my creativity, and Imissed finding purpose in my work.
I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved, but it’s time to embark on a new journey.
Because of a breast cancer gene, I’ve had various preventive surgeries over the past years, andtherefor got to know the world of the OR. That’s when I discovered the role of a surgical
assistant, and it seemed like a fantastic profession!
This fall, I will start my training to become a surgical assistant, where I will apply my technicaland creative skills in the operating room—an adventure I am very excited about!
Rest assured, my creative side will always be there, and I will continue to create beautifulthings, but for the next three years, I want to fully focus on my studies. Will I return to my
creative pursuits alongside my work as a surgical assistant afterward? Who knows 🤷🏽♀️
I want to thank all of you so much for your support and loyalty over the past years. You havemade my journey as a maker/designer unforgettable! ❤️
