We proudly introduce you to our partner Kaap Kargo, a sustainable shipping company that ships our finest spirits! Recently the ‘Ide Min’ set sail with our whisky aboard to make an adventurous journey. Currently sailing from Amsterdam to South America and the Caribbean, set to return with Caribbean rum and our whisky infused with unique flavors. These barrels will age at sea, throughout the four month journey. The wave movements, salty air and warm climates will give those spirits an unique flavor.

“Another week in Douarnenez. We arrived in Brittany on Monday, October 27th, and from that time, we've been working on the boat, stuck in the harbor. We found big and small sail pieces and with those, we made bags for the sails, a shelter for the helm to protect from the sun in the Caribbean, and some pockets to put our phones when they're charging in the cabin. It's good practice for stitching in case we need to fix a sail.
We also painted when it wasn't raining much, but the weather in Douarnenez hasn't been great. We became friends with Sandrine, a waitress at the bar near the boat, and she let us use her car for boat shopping, like groceries and filling the gas bottle.
This week was a bit special; we had fun times with the crew. We celebrated Santa Claus. We drew name and had to write a poem for this person. It was the last day for two brothers going back to the Netherlands, and they gave us gifts with personal intentions for everyone. It was really nice. We also celebrated our chief mate's birthday this Friday! We ordered pizza, and with Camille, we baked three pies! After that, we had a nice time with the Tres Hombres crew; they sang and played guitar on the deck. It was a beautiful moment.
We're all excited to go sailing, but we're enjoying good moments together in the harbor.”
