We’re looking forward to be part of this !
The Digitalising Erasmus Traineeship Application & Support (DETAS) project marked a significant milestone with its first transnational project meeting, held on 18-19 June, hosted by the University of Limerick. The meeting brought together representatives from key partner organisations to set the stage for the transformative project aimed at enhancing traineeships through digital innovation and comprehensive support.
The coordinators reiterated their strategic vision to enhance the Erasmus+ Intern portal and improve the support ecosystem for trainees. Each work package leader presented their plans, including possible tools for support, the role of sending institutions, the plans on how to approach possible improvements for hosting organisations, and outreach and advocacy efforts.
The consortium emphasised the importance of involving stakeholders at every stage of the project. Discussions highlighted how institutions, student organisations and hosting companies could collaborate to improve the Erasmus experience.
As the following steps, the project partners will focus on the implementation phase, beginning with survey building and focus groups to better understand the needs and pain points of the sending institutions and host organisations/companies, and start the processes to refine the Erasmus+ Intern portal.
Stay tuned!
