A warm welcome to Opcharge! 🔌

WTC Rotterdam is happy to welcome Opcharge, a fast growing name in electric charging solutions, as our newest tenant. They've signed a long term lease for The Loft: around 500 m² of office space plus a 150 m² rooftop terrace, set in the monumental former gatehouse of WTC Rotterdam.

Three artists, three fascinations, one thought-provoking exhibition.

On Sunday, 6 September, WTC Rotterdam Art Gallery will open the new cultural season with works by Olaf Mooij, Aletta Bos and Bianca Runge.

Through humour and imagination, they explore the relationship between people and their man-made environment. From the car as a ‘sacred cow’ and the intelligence of nature to the excesses of our consumer society. Their work balances beauty and alienation, inviting us to see the world through different eyes.

World Wide Web Day: here's to connection 🌐

The World Wide Web turns another year older today. Since 1989 it has changed the way we work, meet and do business.

But let's be honest: some connections are still better made in person. A handshake in the lobby, a chat at the coffee bar, a chance meeting in the elevator. That is our kind of networking.

Here is to the web, and to everything it can never replace.

It's Plastic July, and together we're making a great contribution! 💚

Thanks to everyone dropping their empty bottles and cans in our turtle at WTC Rotterdam, we've raised € 1.049,65 so far this year for the Plastic Soup Foundation.

Together, we make an impact. We'll continue collecting and donating cans and bottles in the months ahead to help create a cleaner, more sustainable future. 🐢♻️

A cleaner city, one lunch break at a time 🌿

This summer we are taking part in the Clean up Relay in Rotterdam city centre.

During July and August, litter pickers will be available in our lobby for tenants and colleagues who want to combine a walk outside with doing something good for the neighbourhood.
We think it is important to support initiatives like this and contribute to a cleaner and more pleasant city centre. A small effort that can make a visible difference. 💚

Ercüment Arslan founded Costumo with one goal in mind: to make high-quality, personal styling accessible to anyone who values how they present themselves. Every detail, from the fabric to the fit to the conversation, is part of the experience.

Meet Kevin Straal: “Recognition is what makes our work truly rewarding.”

For the past year, Kevin Straal has been part of our security team, where no two days are the same. From monitoring CCTV and fire alarm systems to access control and welcoming visitors: his role combines vigilance with hospitality.

"The best part of my job is contributing to a safe and welcoming environment while helping everything run smoothly," Kevin says.

Originally from Rotterdam, Kevin has worked in the security industry for several years. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the gym, visiting museums and even occasionally performing as a DJ.🎧

What stands out most to him about working at WTC Rotterdam is the strong collaboration between everyone involved. "The way all parties work together makes it a place where I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day."

Looking ahead, Kevin hopes to keep developing his skills and seize new opportunities whenever they arise.
But for him, the biggest motivation comes from the appreciation he and his colleagues receive: "When visitors, tenants or the management acknowledge our work, it gives us a real sense of pride. That recognition motivates us to keep delivering the best possible service." And we are proud of you Kevin!
