'Fiets naar je Werk dag' (=Bike to Work day) is tomorrow!
And nobody takes that more seriously than Kristiaan Dijkstra, our hospitality manager at WTC Rotterdam...
He'll tell you cycling beats public transport every time: you see more of the city, it's reliable, and it's good for body and soul. 🚲

Thinking about joining Kristiaan tomorrow? The sun is coming out, the sky will be blue, and there is absolutely no excuse not to cycle in.☀️

Happy Receptionist Day! Today, we’re celebrating the real CEOs of the organization. The ones who know everything, organize everything, and are always ready with a smile. Thank you for your warmth, efficiency, and for keeping our office running smoothly. Today is all about you!

In full

There's something that shifts when you see an artist's work in full. Not a curated selection, but the whole series. That's exactly what Astrid de Pauw has created at WTC Rotterdam Art Gallery.

The exhibition brings together three artists: Hulya Yilmaz, Esther Schoonhoven, and Marco Douma, each working in expansive, linked series of drawings. Their approaches couldn't be more different: emotion, light, time. But together they create something that rewards stillness and slow looking.

On view through 21 June. Astrid is present Fridays and Saturdays, 13:00 to 17:00, if you'd like to talk through the work.

WTC Rotterdam has always been right at the heart of the Rotterdam Marathon. This year, that connection went even further. Two familiar faces from the WTC community didn’t just support from the sidelines, they ran it. 🏃🏃

Erwin Lund (Interparking) and Anita Kartodimedjo (Cushman & Wakefield) both actively involved in WTC Rotterdam on a daily basis, took on the marathon themselves.

“I finished in 3:38, improving my PR by 12 minutes. Overall it felt like one big celebration. Amazing to be part of the best marathon again”: Erwin

“This was my second NN Marathon. With the finish line right next to WTC Rotterdam this year, it felt extra special. The energy from the crowd kept me going, even in the toughest moments. A challenging but truly rewarding experience”: Anita

We’re proud of them and congratulate them on this achievement.🎖️🎖️

Meet the team: Jasmin Koolhaas/ asset manager Bouwinvest

“My challenge is balancing performance ánd experience at WTC Rotterdam”
For Jasmin Koolhaas, asset management is never just about numbers. As asset manager at Bouwinvest, responsible for among others WTC Rotterdam, she operates at the intersection of performance, people and long term value.

“You’re balancing two worlds,” she explains. “On one side, delivering strong returns for pension funds. On the other, creating a place where tenants actually want to be.”
That combination is exactly what makes her role dynamic. From steering strategy to working closely with property teams on the ground, her focus is on continuously improving both the asset and the user experience. “It’s not about maintaining what’s there. It’s about actively making it better, future proof, more
sustainable and more attractive.”

WTC Rotterdam holds a special place for her: professionally but also personally. Being originally from the Rotterdam region, the building has always stood out. “It’s an icon in the city. When the opportunity came to work on it, I immediately knew this is something I want to be part of.”

Following major renovations in recent years, the building has evolved into a high quality, future ready workplace. Contributing to that transformation is something she takes pride in. “You’re not just managing a building, you’re shaping how people experience it every day.”
Ultimately, the success of a building is visible in its daily use. “When you walk through a building and see energy, activity and people who enjoy being there, that’s when you know it works.”

Meet the tenant: Ivanka Bojovic from Robert Walters

When you speak to Ivanka Bojovic, you quickly notice she approaches offices from a different angle. As Senior Facility Manager at Robert Walters, she is responsible for the offices in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, but her focus goes far beyond operations. “I don’t just want things to work. I want them to feel right,” she explains, driven by a constant urge to improve and refine the spaces around her.

Her path into this role was not the obvious one. With a background in accounting, she spent years in a structured environment before realizing she missed creativity. Today, she combines both worlds, from large projects like office moves to the smallest details that bring a space to life. “I’m a doer,” she says. “If I see something that can be better, I change it.”

That mindset is clearly visible in their Rotterdam office at WTC. Instead of a standard setup, Ivanka helped create an environment centered around openness and connection. But for her, the building itself plays an equally important role. “What I love about WTC Rotterdam is that you step outside and you’re right in the middle of the city,” she says. With everything from lunch to meetings within reach, the energy of the location becomes part of the working day. “It’s lively, it’s easy, and that makes a real difference.”

Most people don’t need a gym.
They need a sidewalk.🚶🏻

Walk to Work Day is a simple reminder that the smartest upgrade to your workday isn’t another app or meeting: it’s movement! A short walk a day takes your problems away!

At WTC Rotterdam, we actively support the initiative from Wandelnet! And we invite all our tenants to join Walk to Work Day and take that first step, literally.

🌍 Earth Hour 2026

This Saturday, from 20:30 to 21:30, WTC Rotterdam joins Earth Hour by switching off non-essential lighting. Not as a pause in progress, but as a reminder that progress must be sustainable.

From 20:30 to 21:30, we stand alongside millions worldwide in support of climate awareness and responsible energy use. We invite our community to take part and reflect on the role we all play: what can you add to build a sustainable future?
