What an innovative locomotive! After 3 years of joint-development with and we are happy to see that our e-Shunter has become alive! This is the first zero-emission shunting locomotive, which is capable to run under multiple network voltages and is equipped with high-capacity batteries and intelligent breaking recuperating systems. The advanced battery technology allows the locomotive to operate on non-electrified railway lines and perform first and last mile shunting on locations where there is no catenary. Wow what a beast! The first Stadler Euro 9000 was revealed yesterday at the InnoTrans in Berlin and guess who the 🔑 are for..?😜 2,5 years after we have ordered the locomotive from paper, it’s great to see the result in reallife. This locomotive is a true innovation. It’s the strongest in the market and it with it’s state of the art hybrid technology, will contribute to a significant lower carbon footprint. Thanks a lot and for this impressive achievement.

New year, new… look. Our electric 1828 locomotive was on a little break at LWR - Locomotive Workshop Rotterdam - to get a new fresh livery and was combined with his regular maintenance interval. Today, under de testing powerlines of the workshop, the loco showed his new livery posing nicely in the cold sun. Special thanks to LWR and Omnimark! What do you think of the new livery?

We have been driving the daily containershuttle between the Rotterdam Maasvlakte APMT2 terminal and Cabooter Venlo terminal for over 2 years now. However, since this week we’ve moved!
Yesterday the first train arrived at the brand new Cabooter Group Rail Terminal Greenport in Venlo! Our Alpha Trains Group E186-231 hauled the the train completely electric from the Maasvlakte to railyard Gekkengraaf and the G2000 1605 did the first- and lastmile shunting.

We are happy to announce our next step towards carbon neutral railway transportation, with the acquisition of the first zero-emission shunting locomotives. These locomotives are suitable to run under multiple network voltages and are equiped with high-capacity batteries and intelligent breaking energy regeneration systems. The advanced battery technology allows the locomotive to operate on non-electrified railway lines and perform first and last mile shunting operations without the support of combustion engines. Theres a first time for everything! Yesterday we’ve loaded our first coals train at the Amsterdam OBA Bulkterminal for final destination Ostrava 🇨🇿. Our diesel engine G1206 1572 had the job of pulling the wagons trough the loadingsilo’s, one at a time. At the end we’ve loaded over 1.900 tons of coals! A great beginning of the weekend.

Spring is finally here and the loaded coal train is still going strong! The .eu F4-203 is hauling this 2.662 Ton loaded train with final destination Ostrava 🇨🇿. The yellow/grey locomotive will bring the train to Bad Bentheim. Here we see the train passing the Rhine river bridge at Oosterbeek. The locomotive driver will have a wonderful view for sure!

Sharky hungry for some coals! As from this week we connect Rotterdam Maasvlakte (NL) with Ostrava (CZ), with 2 roundtrips per week and a average netto weight of 1.800T of coals. Our Sharky X4E-623 (and every other locomotive 😉) is ready to do the job 💪🏼.
