Meet Sherina 🙋🏻♀️
Our Lead of People & Culture, who used to dream of having a holiday resort, but luckily ended up at DotControl. This might make you wonder how she ended up here right? Well, the answer to that is both simple and a bit funny. When Sherina was only 16 years old, she worked at a snackbar with someone who has become one of her closest friends till this day. Fast forward, about 20 years later, this ‘person’ was now working at DotControl - and the company was in need of someone to lead our company culture. Stating the obvious - Sherina was introduced and the perfect fit for the role - due to her honesty, mother-like qualities and work hard, play hard mentality.

Sherina lives in Krimpen aan de Lek with her boyfriend and her 2 children. Already sounds like a full house right? But wait, she also owns 1 horse, 2 cats and 2 hamsters. In case you’re wondering how someone ends up with 5 pets… Let’s say her boyfriend has the great ability of introducing ideas for new pets to her children – leaving Sherina in a difficult space to say no to 3 people simultaneously.
Now envision this packed house combined with a busy social life and you will probably have a good overview of Sherina’s life. Drinks to kick-off the weekend usually start on Thursday for Sherina. But somehow we don’t seem to notice that, by the energy she brings to the office on Friday. Maybe she has a secret… Or maybe she just trained herself with years of having a chaotic life full of festivals and parties.
