A Twist on Coastal Chic 🌊

I’ve been working with my client to slowly redesign her entire home in Atlanta, and couldn’t wait to share her primary bedroom makeover! Growing up around water in the Hampton Roads Area, she wanted coastal elements, to keep her light grey walls w/ white trim and for her room to feel like a soft, luxury retreat.

Instead of traditional blues, we agreed to bring a more interesting blend of rust, sage and nudes together, with nods to coastal living featured in the art and texture to the walls for a relaxing and lush feel. Also love the black accents to balance the lightness and emphasize the vaulted ceiling 😉. Let me know what you think ✨

Wilde Parlour’s Artist in Residence, Sweet Potato, and the founder’s child turned 7 years old today 🥳🥹

Seven years as our Chief Surface Tester, letting no cushion pass without strict QA measures. She’s always down for a nap break and springs into action at the mere mention of walk or t-r-e-a-t. A lover of flora herself, she appreciates the visual arts and has been known to pop up in a features or two.

Looking at the final result of a project after months of consistent work and dedication is what any creative looks forward to. You have this idea and as a style, map it out, ensuring there’s a key theme connecting the different spaces while making them distinctly unique.

Once finished, I had to get people into the studio to see if their first reactions and visual experience walking through and learning about the space hits their senses the way I intended. I wanted to be inviting, bold in color and texture, while making it feel very calming and easily approachable to apply to your next project.

Finishing the studio felt like a huge weight lifted! With the studio’s foundation in Rotterdam and the consulting practice taking on projects globally, I can finally say that Wilde Parlour is ready to welcome everyone willing to create and connect. 🥂✨
