On this Day of the Seafarer, we proudly stand with the global maritime community in recognizing the dedication, resilience, and sacrifices of maritime professionals around the world.

This year’s theme — “My harassment-free ship” — is more than a slogan. It is a call to action for every maritime organization, every ship owner, and every crew member to ensure that vessels are not just safe for work, but also safe for dignity, respect, and inclusion.

At BCS Group - Boers Crew Services, we believe that every maritime professional deserves a workplace free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment. A harassment-free ship is not a privilege — it is a fundamental right.

The journey of the maritime professional — a journey we aim to make as smooth as possible — is not one taken by men alone. Let’s not forget the women in our industry. Whether they’re working on board or keeping operations afloat from shore, their contribution is part of the same course.

Today, we don’t shine a spotlight because they’re better than anyone else. We pause to acknowledge the women who navigate their paths in a world historically shaped by men.

What a fantastic event last Thursday! The only crewing event in Hamburg during Eisbein was a huge success, and we could not be more grateful for everyone who joined us. From insightful conversations to reconnecting with industry friend, it was an event to remember!
