𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨đĨ (𝐂𝟐𝐇𝟔𝐎) is a volatile, flammable liquid with a characteristic odor. It is a widely used solvent and also very common in alcoholic beverages.

Exposure to excessive amounts of ethanol vapour is highly hazardous. It may cause cancer, cirrhosis of the liver and even reduce fertility in the long term. Ethanol can be easily inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Acute symptoms of ingestion are intellectual and physical agitation and even respiratory paralysis.

𝐒𝐮đĨ𝐩𝐡𝐮đĢ 𝐃đĸ𝐨𝐱đĸ𝐝𝐞 (𝐒𝐎𝟐) often appears when fossil fuels containing sulfur are burned, for example, petroleum and coal. It occurs as a colourless gas with a strong characteristic odour. SO2 may cause breathing system and eyes irritation starting at 1ppm. Even if it is corrosive and harmful, above all this gas is extremely toxic.
