Het Industriegebouw is een icoon van de Rotterdamse wederopbouw. Het gebouw is gerealiseerd in het naoorlogse Rotterdam en ontworpen door de legendarische architect Hugh Maaskant, in samenwerking met Willem van Tijen. Na de tweede wereldoorlog is Het Indust

riegebouw in opdracht van de Gemeente Rotterdam gebouwd en was daarmee één van de eerste bedrijfsverzamelgebouwen van Nederland. In redelijke staat van verloedering werd Het Industriegebouw (HIG) in 2015 gekocht door Rotterdamse investeerders met durf en hart voor de stad. Het rijksmonument van 22.000 m2 stond toen praktisch leeg. Het idee om dit icoon van de Rotterdamse wederopbouw weer in volle glorie te herstellen en naar zijn oorspronkelijke staat en functie terug te brengen was geboren. Eind 2017 zit het gebouw praktisch vol met meer dan 200 bedrijven, een levendige community van meer dan 1000 professionals en een grote diversiteit aan kwalitatieve horeca en retail concepten. De renaissance van Het Industriegebouw is compleet en Rotterdam een hotspot rijker. Disclaimer:
