🏭 In nitric acid production, the tail gas is the off-gas containing mainly and impurities, such as NOx and N2O.

The temperature of the tail gas is important for maximizing the efficiency of nitric acid production. Higher temperatures will result in greater energy of the process.

🌿 High tail gas temperature also provides advantages to the tertiary system in nitric acid plants.
