WINNER...// The best of her time in Amsterdam was meeting him. Both recently arrived from Germany and France, he challenged her to go for a run with him. Not knowing that she was very competitive, with a background in tennis on a high level, she ended up to be fitter than he on that occasion. But the best thing was: she won his heart.

MAGICAL...//It just all fell into place. Our click, the story they shared, the contributions from loved ones. And on the day itself the sun came out and put the courtyard in a golden glow, their guests warmed up the atmosphere by their mere presence. And I bridged cultures and countries with a speech in three languages. It was nothing short of magical.

THE WORLD...//When you have travelled the world for studies, tennis and work, then it is logical that you have friends from all over the world. And when those friends make the effort to travel all the way to France to be with you on your wedding day, that means the world. Not even a tennis match can beat that.

HAPPINESS...//This is what happiness looks like. For years, they travelled between Germany and The Netherlands, allowing each other space to follow their own paths. Not the easiest choice, but a choice that allowed them to spread their wings and grow. But they knew that this choice would bring them closer than ever. EMOTIONAL...// This was the most emotional moment of any wedding in my career. The brides' grandmother held a speech and returned a little doll that the bride had made especially for her grandmother when she was young. Her grandmother decided it was time for the bride to take care of the little doll once again. We were all moved to tears. It was so beautiful, so emotional.
