Vanuit Sliedrecht, voor Sliedrecht. 📍
Tijdens de opening van het vernieuwde gemeentekantoor en de gemeentewinkel in Sliedrecht legden we het eindresultaat vast. Een mooi moment om ook onze bijdrage aan dit lokale project in beeld te brengen.
Royal Van der Leun Electrobouw was verantwoordelijk voor de elektrotechnische totaalverbouwing van het gemeentekantoor.

Van de complete elektrotechnische installatie en vernieuwde CAT7-data-installatie tot beveiliging, brandmelding, ontruimingsalarmering, verdeelkasten en acht EV-laadpunten.

Veel van deze techniek is na oplevering niet direct zichtbaar, maar vormt wel de basis voor een veilige, betrouwbare en toekomstbestendige werkomgeving.
Dat we onze expertise juist hier mochten inzetten, maakt het project voor ons extra bijzonder. Sliedrecht is al meer dan honderd jaar onze thuisbasis en de plek van waaruit ons vakmanschap zich verder heeft ontwikkeld, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
Met trots kijken we terug op het eindresultaat.

Royal Van der Leun expands into Germany!
We are pleased to announce the establishment of Van der Leun Germany GmbH, officially founded on 1 July 2026.

After several years of building strong relationships and expanding our network in Germany, this marks an important next step in our international growth.

With a dedicated presence in Germany, we can work even closer with our customers, respond more quickly to their needs and further expand our activities in the region. Van der Leun Germany GmbH will focus on service and maintenance, maritime and industrial projects, and battery system installations.

Under the leadership of Walter van der Steen, we look forward to further strengthening our relationships with customers, shipyards and partners in Germany.

This weekend marked an important milestone for one of Curaçao’s most iconic landmarks.

The Queen Emma Bridge, affectionately known as the Swinging Old Lady, was temporarily removed to make way for the installation of its new fully electric propulsion system. While the bridge will retain its iconic appearance, its technology is being completely renewed, from the propulsion system and electrical installation to the cabling and control systems.

Royal Van der Leun is proud to contribute to this landmark project by delivering the complete electrical installation for the new motor pontoon, helping to preserve this historic bridge while preparing it for a sustainable future.

A special thanks to Holland shipyards Group and Ferry Easy for the great collaboration on this unique project.

⚙️ Een futuristische aanwinst in onze metaalwerkplaats!

Met trots introduceren we onze splinternieuwe Bodor Laser P3 20 kW.
Met zijn strakke design, donkergetinte glazen panelen en opvallende oranje accenten is hij een echte blikvanger. Maar achter zijn futuristische uiterlijk schuilt vooral indrukwekkende techniek. Met deze krachtige fiberlasersnijmachine kunnen we materialen tot maar liefst 40 mm dik uiterst nauwkeurig en efficiënt snijden.
Dat zorgt voor een hoge snijkwaliteit en uitstekende maatvastheid.

Van enkelstuks tot seriewerk: met deze lasermachine vergroten we onze mogelijkheden en kunnen we onze klanten nog beter ondersteunen met
de kwaliteit, flexibiliteit en betrouwbaarheid die zij van Royal Van der Leun gewend zijn.

“Van buiten naar binnen: mijn ervaring neem ik elke dag mee.”

Na jaren in de uitvoering weet Arjan precies wat er buiten op een project gebeurt. Die ervaring neemt hij nu mee in zijn rol als Project Manager binnen Royal Van der Leun.

Van baggerschepen en kabelleggers tot sleepboten en hybride vrachtschepen: geen project is hetzelfde. En juist die afwisseling maakt zijn werk interessant.

📺🚴‍♂️ Koele kijktip voor dit weekend: Moedig de underdogs van DRC de Mol aan op het NK Wegwielrennen!

Dankzij hun sterke prestaties tot nu toe mogen Tim Angenent en Tim van der Poel van het door ons gesponsorde DRC de Mol meerijden tijdens het Nederlands Kampioenschap Wegwielrennen.

Ze staan daar tussen grote namen als Bauke Mollema, Fabio Jakobsen, Wout Poels, Dylan van Baarle en Olav Kooij. Een indrukwekkend deelnemersveld, waarbij aanstormend talent zich mag meten met de gevestigde top van het Nederlandse wielrennen.

Voor ons is het vooral geweldig om te zien dat twee talentvolle beloften van DRC de Mol deze kans krijgen. We zijn supertrots dat zij de clubkleuren mogen laten zien op het hoogste nationale niveau van het wegwielrennen.

Thanks to their strong performances so far, Tim Angenent and Tim van der Poel from our sponsored cycling club DRC de Mol will be taking part in the Dutch National Road Cycling Championships.

They will line up alongside big names such as Bauke Mollema, Fabio Jakobsen, Wout Poels, Dylan van Baarle and Olav Kooij. An impressive field, where emerging talent gets the chance to ride alongside the established top of Dutch cycling.

What a fantastic few days at Maritime Industry 2026!
