With their extraordinary colors and unique shapes, each of these nudibranchs are like stunning works of art. Around 3,000 species of these soft-bodied molluscs are known to science and are spread throughout tropical waters around the globe. At De Jong Aquaculture we are proud to announce the successful breeding of the stunning Ecsenius gravieri — also known as the Red Sea Mimic Blenny!

This beautiful species is famous for its striking coloration and fascinating mimicry behavior, resembling venomous fang blennies for protection in the wild. Rarely available in the aquarium trade, successfully raising this species in captivity is another important step toward sustainable marine aquaculture and reducing pressure on wild reef populations.
