NOT LIVING YOUR LIFE FULLY IN THE HAGUE?
You have settled in The Hague, found a cosy house and a reputed international school for your kids.
The Hague feels as a ‘global village’, and since everyone speaks English, you thought it would be easy to feel home here.
Still, you mostly hang around with expats. Dutch people are so direct, they often strike you as being rather rude! When you try to meet up with them, you get to hear that it won’t be possible before several weeks.
You have done your best and wonder now how to tap the full potential from this new place.
WITH MY 5-STEPS PROGRAMME, YOU WILL:
➢ overcome the culture shock
➢ go beyond the expat bubble
➢ create deep connections with the city and its inhabitants
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
➢ a highly interactive workshop within a group of max. 10 participants
➢ reflection and role-play
➢ exploring brain & soul, storytelling, sharing experiences
➢ an outdoor activity
WHEN?
As soon as we gather a group of 6-10 participants, once the corona crisi is over.

Become more aware of your key-values, beliefs and ideals as to sharpen your sense of purpose and commitment to make these ideals come true.
3. SMOOTHLY INTERACT WITH LOCALS, MAKE NEW ALLIES:
Grasp how people behave, think and talk here as to decipher and smartly respond to real-life situations – at the bakery, the sport’s club or the office.
4. FIND GOLD AND HIDDEN GEMS:
Connect during an outdoor activity with people and places that speak to your heart in new, refreshing ways to enrich your experience in this city.

Draft your personalised ground plan of people and places of The Hague that will give you inspiration, energy and fulfilment.
During the workshop you will gain insights and skills to live a more rewarding life in The Hague, and capitalize for potential relocation and travel.
SHORT-CUT TO A LONG RUN:
Since I settled in The Hague 17 years ago, I have become fluent in Dutch and know my way around. Yet this was not enough to feel at home.
Years of encounters and walks have taught me an essential lesson. To belong here, I had to:
1. look inside to identify what drives me
2. look outside to grasp how inhabitants of The Hague feel, think, act, and communicate
3. interact with them and draw joy from special spots which make The Hague my city.
