Op dit moment is er een stagemogelijkheid bij de meest gerenommeerde MBA-opleiding in Maleisië. Al vele studenten hebben hier tot volle wederzijdse tevredenheid stage gelopen.

Student Information System (SIS) improvement plan
Problem
A prominent university in Kuala Lumpur is facing IT challenges. This assignment will focus on the problems within the SIS, Oracle Campus Solutions. The application was implemented one year ago. Since then, various problems have arisen. Among those are:
• Difficult to navigate;
• Certain functionality is not configured.
The goal of the assignment is to improve the user experience of the SIS by analyzing the problems and proposing solutions.
Approach
To achieve the goal of the assignment, the improvement plan can be divided in the following phases:
1. Analyze
a. The system is used by several departments, analyze which processes make use of the SIS and illustrate with flowcharts;
b. Catalog the problems by means of interviews;
Deliverable: Analysis of current situation
2. Advise
a. Present problems found;
b. Brainstorm solutions by researching SIS best practices;
c. Make change proposal (for ex. Implementing fluid navigation).
Deliverable: Change proposal
3. Design
a. Design how the changes will affect the system by making wireframes of how the SIS will look like and flowcharts of how the processes will change;
Deliverable: Functional design specification
4. Realise
a. Implement changes by configuring the system in a test environment;
b. Test if the changes improved the situation by having the end-users try it out.
Deliverable: Prototype

- Toevoeging gesloten Facebook Group (waarbij studenten vaak afspraken maken over het delen van huisvesting, het plannen van weekendtripjes etc.)
- Uitnodiging Cultural Briefing & Diner
- Uitnodiging Mentor-/ Netwerkavond & Diner
- Uitnodiging tour door de Heineken-brouwerij
- Uitnodiging evenementen waar studenten welkom zijn georganiseerd door MDBC, meestal tegen speciaal studententarief (bijv. het BMW Tennis toernooi)
- Uitnodiging evenementen waar studenten welkom zijn die niet door MDBC zelf zijn georganiseerd, meestal tegen speciaal studententarief (bijv. evenementen die door de Nederlandse Vereniging Maleisië worden georganiseerd, zoals de nieuwjaarsborrel, cabaret etc.)
- Aanspreekpunt en informatievoorziening voor en tijdens de stage en bij calamiteiten
- Op verzoek van het stagebedrijf helpt MDBC met het aanvragen van het studentenwerkvisum (kosten zijn voor het stagebedrijf)
