The Women's Business Initiative International (WBII) is a community of women business owners sharing knowledge and experience to learn and grow together. WHAT WE DO

We empower members to achieve their business goals through three channels:

1. Community Building

Running a business can feel lonely and isolating at times. By gathering an International community of female-led businesses, we offer a

n inspiring space to connect and collaborate with others who understand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. Masterminds and Peer Support

Our Mastermind Groups provide an extra boost and dedicated working circle for members. These groups offer a unique opportunity to get valuable feedback on your latest projects and ideas, drawing from the collective wisdom of a group of like-minded women. The WBII Skill Shares are another way we support each other on a variety of topics related to our businesses.

3. Events and Social Activities

Our regular monthly events are a great opportunity to connect as well as increase our business knowledge around key topics relevant to both beginners and seasoned business owners. Each year the WBII designates a theme to focus our attention and events around. IMPACT is the theme for 2023. Our in-person and online events are open to both members and non-members. During the year, we also host occasional events to simply connect and gather socially. The WBII is based in The Hague but includes members from around the Netherlands. We are a women-only association with an inclusive definition of women, including trans women and any others who identify as a woman in a way that is significant to them. Since its establishment in 2006 as a Dutch not for profit foundation, close to 1000 women entrepreneurs from 30+ countries have actively participated in and benefited from this initiative.

Introducing Anastasie Vasina

Anastasia is the co-founder of Adore Cake Atelier, a beautiful cake shop in The Hague’s Regentessekwartier. Adore Cake Atelier creates custom cakes for every kind of occasion, from corporate events and weddings to birthdays and other celebrations. With a wide selection of flavours and designs, every cake is created to make the occasion truly special.

Let’s welcome our new members with a warm embrace and also take a moment to connect or reconnect with a fellow member we don't know well.

A big thank you to everyone who joined our August (online) knowledge share and networking event!

Liz Jones from Digital-Liz presented on how AI tools reflect systemic gender bias through skewed training data, and why women’s cautious approach to AI is a strength, not a weakness.

The session brought together data, live demonstrations and practical guidance on how we can use AI more critically, consciously and intentionally.

Thank you for joining us. It was wonderful to connect, support and grow together. 💜

August is the final stretch of summer. Some of us are already slowly returning to our work routine, while others are still enjoying a well-deserved break.

If you are on holiday or about to be, fully embrace it. Put your phone away, forget the schedule, wake up without an alarm and take time to recharge. Summer is the season of self-love and quality time with your loved ones.

If the holiday is now just a memory, still make time to enjoy the outdoors and the abundance of the season before the Dutch autumn sets in and we can start complaining about the weather again. Stock up on the summer energy and let it carry you forward until you are ready to recharge again.

To ease back into your work life, try joining our co-working sessions on the first Monday of the month between 09:00 and 14:00. These sessions are a space created by and for our members to connect, stay motivated and share ideas (and coffee). Join the co-working WhatsApp group and drop by anytime.
