🔹 DKC will provide the workshop personal goal development. Developing yourself is important to achieve the goals you (may) have set for yourself. DKC is a non-profit student strategy consultant, willing to help your self- and goal- development.
Personal Goal Development – 27/10 at 12.45 : During the personal goal development training, we want to show you how you can develop yourself by a couple of steps. First of all, we want to discuss several personality types. How you can find your own and how this can help you to develop yourself. When you know who you are, what your strengths and what your weaknesses are, it is time to prioritize the things you want to achieve in your (daily) life. The final step in the personal development is SMART goal setting. What do you want to learn? Why do you want to learn? What are the action steps you need to take to achieve your goals?
🔹 YAG will provide two workshops: ‘problem solving’ and ‘the case training’. It is interesting to follow both, since you can apply problem solving in the case training! Since companies will offer cases for you to solve during the Consultancy Days, these workshops might be very useful.
Problem Solving – 28/10 at 12.45 : Before you start working on a case, it is important that you have some guidelines which you can use to efficiently and correctly solve the problem. This problem-solving training will offer you these guidelines through a clear step-by-step manner, teaching you all the skills you need to tackle a wide variety of cases. The training will mainly cover the process of the problem-solving loop and the design of an issue tree. After this training, you will be completely ready to tackle interesting problems in several cases!
Case Training – 30/10 at 12.45 : After the problem solving training on Wednesday, this Friday will be about tackling a realistic case you could be faced with during a job interview. During this 1.5 hour session, we will walk you through the basics of a consulting case. Problem definition, use of resources and eventually solving the case will all be discussed. Through breakout rooms and personal help of our own YAG consultants, we will guide you throughout this stepwise approach to solving a business case.
🔹 SCS will provide the CV & LinkedIn training. Representing yourself in a professional manner through your CV and LinkedIn page is crucial during job applications. Recruiters get information about your qualities and work experience from your personal page, upon which they may find you a suiting candidate for an available job. Even when you think you are not looking for anything (else), something great can come out of this!
CV & LinkedIn – 29/10 at 10.45: During this session, participants will learn how to write a winning, result-driven CV and LinkedIn Profile that showcases your experience and qualities to the full.Furthermore, participants receive inside information on what employers are looking for and how you can incorporate this into your CV and LinkedIn Profile.
The topics discussed will be: What impression does your CV give? Layout & style, Purpose & content of CV, and Tips & tricks and Do’s & don’ts.
