We had such a lovely time at the community BBQ yesterday! Thanks to all the founders & their teams for joining. Surprisingly sunny for Utrecht, cold flower collins cocktails, games, and a lot of good conversations. It's always nice to see the founders in our community spend time together.

This is the part of building a startup that doesn't show up on a pitch deck, the people around you and the community you're part of. Yesterday was a good reminder of that.

On June 18, we're hosting our startup pitch day at UtrechtInc.

You'll hear from founders graduating from our validation programs, teams who've spent the last months testing their ideas, talking to customers, and figuring out whether they're onto something real.

One of them is PrivateDen, graduating from our Student Validation Program. Founded by Stan Stolarski and Ansgar Tumbrink, both Honours Students of Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University, they're building a platform that connects investors and startups. This happens through milestone-based contracts, so capital gets released as progress is made, not just on a handshake and a pitch deck. It's a more structured way to fund early-stage companies, and a problem worth solving.

More startups will be pitching on the day. Come if you're an investor, a founder, or just curious about what's being built in Utrecht right now.
