A.S.R x Advident 2022

Dit jaar gaan we weer een ASR challenge organiseren! In de challenge wordt er doormiddel van een brainstorm sessie een actueel vraagstuk behandeld. ASR bezit meerdere landgoederen verspreid door Nederland in het buitengebied. Voor het beheer van deze buitengebieden is het van belang om een goed beeld te hebben van de geleverde diensten en de ontwikkeling van de vraag en aanbod van deze diensten.

In de challenge krijg je de kans om professionals van A.S.R. te ontmoeten, en gezellig een drankje te doen bij A.S.R! Het is een mooi moment om ervaring op te doen in het gebruiken van je natuurwetenschappelijke kennis.

De challenge vindt plaats op 9 Juni van 17:30 tot 21:00, en catering wordt verzorgd.

Wij zijn super enthousiast om de eerste challenge van 2021 aan te kondigen in samenwerking met a.s.r. Real Estate Rural! De Challenge zal online plaatsvinden op 12 maart van 13:00 tot 17:00 via Zoom.

A.s.r. Real Estate Rural is de grootste private eigenaar van landbouwgrond/landgoederen in Nederland. Omdat het concept duurzaamheid bij a.s.r. hoog in het vaandel staat zetten zij zich in voor duurzaam en maatschappelijk ondernemen met de ambitie om in 2050 CO2-neutraal te zijn via beleggingen en financiën. Om hieraan te voldoen is het noodzakelijk om concreet te inventariseren wat de huidige CO2-footprint is van hun landelijke vastgoedportefeuille. Hier hebben ze jouw expertise voor nodig!

Tijdens de challenge denk jij na over innovatieve manieren waarop a.s.r. Real Estate Rural haar CO2-footprint meetbaar kan maken. Je strijdt in groepjes tegen andere waarna je jouw innovatieve ideeën zal presenteren aan vertegenwoordigers van a.s.r. Real Estate Rural. De beste pitch maakt kans op mooie prijzen!

Wist je dat Advident op 9 oktober ook een workshop geeft op de Student Consultancy Dag? Advident is de schakel tussen de student en het natuurwetenschappelijk werkveld. Wij dagen studenten uit om hun brede kennis in te zetten bij het oplossen van vraagstukken uit de maatschappij.

Tijdens de Student Consultancy Dag zal Advident met jou onze 'Consultancy Game' spelen, waarbij jij in de rol van adviseur een interessante casus behandelt. Zo maak je mee wat er allemaal komt kijken bij consultancy projecten, van vage opdrachtgevers tot ingewikkelde vragen en eindeloos veel methodes om tot jouw advies te komen. Deze power-challenge geeft jou zo een blik in het leven van een consultant!

On Thursday the 13th of June VIDIUS will organise a new symposium ‘Let’s talk about stress’. Two (former) students will share their experiences about their mental problems, after which questions can be asked. Floris Boudens, student member of the university counsel and member of the taskforce student wellbeing, will share his experiences about (working on) student wellbeing at Utrecht University. The theoretical side will also be discussed here. How do mental problems infect your body and brain?

Op 13 mei organiseert VIDIUS een zorgsymposium. In samenwerking met Diversion, zullen er onder andere twee (ex)studenten komen spreken over hun ervaringen met psychische klachten. Daarna wordt het gesprek aangegaan en kun je al je vragen aan hen stellen! Ook zal de theoretische kant belicht worden.....

Last Saturday Stichting Trésor's donors day was held at Burgers Zoo!

Our project team of Trésor was also invited to this event. They had the opportunity to present the results of their project about CO2-compensation to all the donors and other guests.

Last Wednesday our project group of Berlinger held the final presentation of their project!

The last few weeks they worked on the problem of shelf life reduction of pharmaceuticals during the cold chain, the process where the pharmaceuticals are kept cool for storage and transport. To monitor this reduction the students designed a model that determined the degradation of the active substance under ideal conditions and real-life conditions. The difference between those lines is the reduction in shelf-life. Berlinger wants to incorporate this in their next line of monitors so they can give their clients better insight in the usability of medicines during clinical trials.

We want to thank the students for their hard work the last couple of weeks and of course Berlinger for their interesting project and the delightful sushi after the presentation!

Utrecht Challenge Alliantie is hosting a new challenge about this subject, the Utrecht Mobility Challenge on the 6th, 7th , 13th and 14th of June 2019. During these four days they challenge you to think of new solutions for traveling in the future. For example, which digital applications can increase the travel possibilities, promote more conscious traveling behaviour and with that keep Utrecht reachable in the future?

Did you know that UU corporate Real Estate & Campus has four employees especially for sustainable innovations regarding all the buildings of the UU? Advident is going to collaborate with them to set up a new innovative building at the Utrecht Science Park. You can play a role in this process!
