We have had an amazing few days in China, took a few domestic flights, drove 1000 km+, visited several current and potentially new suppliers.

It’s an amazing country were development went so fast. Companies that started less then 10 years ago doing tens of millions of dollars turnover today. Labour is still relatively cheap and efficiency is very high. Discipline and serious regulations do the rest. Making this development possible.

It is good to see it, so we can place things in the right perspective. For Vivani Animal Nutrition and Care Products BV we will start to source more from China, realising we cannot compete with this back home.

As a company we can built our strategic future on import from China, as so many other companies did before us.

We were extremely well hosted by our suppliers. I lost count off the number off restaurants we have visited. Besides performing they definitely know how to enjoy the good things off life too.

Visited a very large mealworm and black soldier fly producer and manufacturer today. Produces his own animal feed in an owned feed mill, large scale farming, microwave and vacuum freezedry processing. Fully automated private label consumer packing. Very impressive. Production of several 40 feet HQ containers per day. Potential new business partner for sure. Jeroen van Stokkom and Vincent van Nies

Vincent van Nies and myself (Jeroen van Stokkom) were at the Guangzou pet show last days. Now travelling up North to visit some of Vivani Animal Nutrition and Care Products BV suppliers. A four hour local domestic flight. China is a whole different level. You need to experience it to understand it (a bit of it at least). Next weekend same place, Guangzou again CIPS petshow.
