There's some developments in the social-media world going on surrounding the hashtags topic. Most of you probably know that hashtags work on Twitter/Instagram and LinkedIn, but did you know Facebook started stimulating them as well? If you click on a # in a post it will take you to a special discovery page where you can see all posts containing these hashtags. Try it out: At this point you don't have the advantage that you can see the total amount of times this hashtag has been used, which is only possible through Instagram right now, but it's quite likely they'll implement this for Facebook as well. Using hashtags on Facebook might look strange, but it can actually organically increase the potential reach of your content, and honestly, with Facebook's current organic reach, you should take on every opportunity to get more people to see your posts with both hands.
