Micronutrients such as carotene have a wealth of applications, for instance in functional foods: Smartness from nature. Our technology additionally enables us to

reproducibly generate small crystals with sizes from 3 microns and up. This has important applications in formulation of drugs. The extraction platform features an unprecedented combination of mild process conditions and high selectivity. This means we can actually get the micronutrients without damaging them, and we get them in one step! Also, we don't need a lot of energy in the process.
