Since early 2020 EOS Maritime BV has been involved in France's first Offshore Wind project, "Le Parc Éolien en Mer de Saint-Nazaire". Challenging soil conditions are present, leading to a purpose built world's first MP drilling machine by Herrenknecht, married to Deme's Modiga, the MP installation aid as never seen before. All on board a familiair face in the industry, the Innovation, which had to undergo significant modifications to be able to cope with the rocky seabed.

The EOS Maritime BV team assigned to this project, is very proud being offered the opportunity to assist the developers EDF/Enbridge. The EOS team is providing the required expertise and competence from Construction Management to Employer Representation to HSE awareness to General Offshore Operations using the developers CTV's.

Credits go to the EOS Maritime team, Rob, Chris, Eoin, Otto, Robert and Erik with new addition(s) expected soon.

Often forgotten are the tasks at backoffice side of things, so special credits go to Sergei, Marc and Marion in order to keep the proces running of pre- and post employment quarantine, organising hotels + meals all around the day during such quarantines, Brexit restrictions, travel restrictions, visa, workpermits, curfew exemptions, PCR testing, antigene testing, and then more PCR testing....

Dear Friends and Followers,

We hardly ever share any of these kind of posts, however this is different, this is extremely important, matter of life and.....

Mariska, beloved wife of Pieter (one of our Consultants) and mother of their 3 children is sick. Very sick.

Due to Covid19 the treatment has been aborted in the Netherlands and that's it. End of story, no further discussions possible.
Meanwhile the clock is ticking.

Luckily, in Germany she could be helped with special treatments, however being a non German citizen, that comes to a price.
Ca. 2/3rd of the required budget could be paid from their own savings so they are short one third of the full treatment.
Publicity and fundraising was their last resort and believe me, last thing they want is publicity......

Dear network, please let us deliver them a bit of compassion and hope over Christmas, by massively donating to this good cause.

EOS Maritime is very proud to be of assistance to this non-profit initiative of international industries and industry leaders, in order to provide an efficient-, low cost- and open source solution, in order to protect healthcare personnel, in the most optimal and efficient way, against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, also known as COVID19.

We are extremely proud of our healthcare workers all over the world, who are preparing for the worst still to come and we wholeheartedly hope this initiative will help them to survive the rapidly approaching tsunami of COVID19 patients.

EOS Maritime sponsors team Heilig-Bink in their North Cape Challenge for Pink Ribbon. When crossing the polar circle, both ladies have been challenged by EOS Maritime to ride for 1 hour with the all windows open (incl the sunroof). The past weekend was reason to celebrate. Some 100km offshore Borkum, Germany, an important milestone was reached. The Albatros project saw her last wind turbine installed. Together with the Hohe See project, our client EnBW successfully installed the 87th turbine well within schedule. Great thumbs up to all involved, including our own team from EOS Maritime who assisted EnBW the past years, during this very challenging project.

Our long term client EnBW has installed all 71 wind turbines of its offshore wind farm "Hohe See" in the German North Sea. Now the installation vessels "Blue Tern" and "Brave Tern" are on their way to the adjacent wind farm Albatros to complete 16 more wind turbines. At the same time, the commissioning of the "Hohe See" wind turbines continues. 27 turbines have already been put into operation and feed electricity into the grid.

"EnBW Hohe See" and "Albatros" represent together the largest offshore wind project with 609 Megawatt currently being realised in Germany. Both wind farms will be put into operation in 2019. To this end, over 600 employees are working at this large construction site in the middle of the sea. Around 50 ships are involved in the construction work. This major project is a logistical challenge and is being coordinated by the EnBW offshore subsidiary in Hamburg. The Canadian energy infrastructure company Enbridge Inc. has acquired 49.9 percent of the shares in both wind farms. EnBW has retained the remaining 50.1 percent in both cases.

Loaded with parts for four wind turbines, the installation vessel Brave Tern (picture) is now heading for the EnBW offshore wind farm “Albatros“ to install the remaining wind turbines.

We are proud to announce that EOS Maritime BV has been notified by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit that the required permit to second our consultants by means of Arbeitnehmer Überlassung (AnÜ) to our valued clients in Germany, has been extended by another year. Great thumbs up for Sergei, Marion, and Alpmann Fröhlich Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft for this great achievement.

During the early hours of todays morning, an important milestone was met by the completion of the successful installation of the Albatros Offshore Transformer Module (OTM).

Offshore Wind Developers and Operators EnBW and Enbridge, are installing the 610MW Hohe See and Albatros Offshore Wind Parks simultaneously, in order to take maximum benefit of having 2 OWP's located so close to each other.

EOS Maritime BV is proud to assist the both projects with a team of highly skilled offshore wind professionals in various work packages. Jörg, Sergei, Javier, Otto, Alejandro and Erik, well done and keep up the good work!
