Wouter Akkerman joins Arcadia Maritime Group
We are thrilled to announce that WouterAkkerman has joined Arcadia Maritime Group as project manager to further strengthen and grow the company's position in the area of refit, conversion and new- build construction of superyachts.

Wouter has extensive experience and invaluable relationships with partners in the superyacht industry. With 24- year experience built during his career at Royal Huisman, Rondal and Steeler Yachts, he has acquired expertise in various fields, such as project development & management, production and quality control for new build, re-build and refit projects.

Coming from an engineering, installation and commissioning background in the field of electrical systems and navigation & communication systems, Wouter truly knows what operates and controls the yacht.

Christian Poorte, Managing Director, says that having worked closely with Wouter on the 43m Blue Papillon and other projects during his time at Royal Huisman, it was a 10-second decision to understand this would be a great step forward to have him on board.

With the addition of Wouter to our team we are looking forward to unlocking new projects worldwide, -while also driving business growth for superyacht project management in the Netherlands.
