Another salmon season in the books. 🎣

It’s been a good one, with two salmon in the bag and, more importantly, plenty of great experiences and memories along the way.

Alta River was, however, a disappointment — remarkably quiet and almost strangely dead. That certainly leaves me a little concerned and thoughtful.

All in all, though, it’s been a fine season, and I can’t really complain. Målselva and particularly Lilleng has delivered to the highest degree.

Time to shore the boat into the sunset… and hopefully towards even better fishing ahead next season.

Remember those ten thousand casts which was mentioned in an earlier post..well..they were definitely cast during our stay in Langstilla…not effortlessly- only fruitlessly..salmon fishing…
But such a nice experience..Altariver 🫶🏻
