✨ This year, my advent calendar 📆 on Social media is a look back at what has shaped — and happened in — my little consultancy, Embli, from January through December. Along the way, you’ll also get to know a little more about me, the founder behind it.
Before we start: I’m am sure I will not manage to post all 24 days, but I’ll do my best. Life happens, and when it does, social media naturally drops down the priority list. We’ll see.

✨ December 1–2
Let’s go back to January. What happened in Embli back then? Well…
January gave both me and Embli a fresh start. Literally. I began my first international collaboration. A software company reached out for support in European and Norwegian sustainability reporting, as well as service and system design.
This assignment brought new reflections and valuable insights.
👉 First, I learned that when a specific competence is needed, it doesn’t matter where in the world you are located — as long as you can work remotely and communicate in English.
👉 Second, I became aware of how much we limit ourselves — myself included — through the boundaries we create, whether geographical or in how we see our own potential. Also how we use our imagination.
Looking back, I want to remind you that you are now living in what used to be your future. Throughout December, I’ll encourage you to imagine something about your future — good or bad. Will that change some of your choices today? 🤔❤️
