Deep farming succeeds when experience is built in real operations. Through close collaboration with fish farmers, operational experience shows that stable results are achieved over time – supported by strong routines, the right expertise and continuous follow-up. Deep farming is a new operating method for many fish farmers, where fish are kept submerged at greater depths to reduce sea lice exposure and provide more stable conditions. Strong biology does not automatically mean strong profitability.

In this blog post, Ole Kristian Sivertsen, CEO of AKVA Digital, in AKVA group, looks at why precision, pen-level visibility and better decision-making are key to turning biological potential into predictable financial results.
