We’re excited to have Sravani Jandhyala, a UCLA alum and expert in curriculum development, evaluation, and grant management, leading the grant writing segment at the CSI workshop during Oslo Innovation Week 2024, part of the broader event- Profit Has No Gender!

As an entrepreneur running her education consultancy firm in the USA, which she co-founded with a partner, Sravani brings a wealth of experience.

Her background encompasses proposal development, grant writing, and management within non-profit organisations, alongside organisational and community leadership roles.

She has also held positions at the Indo-American Cultural Centre and Cal State Fullerton. Additionally, Sravani is an active board member at the Ektaa Centre and a UCLA Alumni Scholarship volunteer.

Sravani’s extensive insights and passion for guiding individuals will be invaluable for entrepreneurs navigating project prioritisation, grant writing, and securing funding.

Have you heard about our Blaze the Trail programme and the fantastic group of social entrepreneurs we've brought together?

This year, we reached a huge milestone at Coral Swans International with the launch of our first-ever microgrant and capacity-building programme—"Blaze the Trail”, aimed at aspiring women social entrepreneurs, aligning with our mission to contribute to key sustainable development goals.

We received many outstanding applications from four different countries, filled with innovative, scalable, and impactful business ideas (and ideals)!
From sustainable fashion accessories and eco-friendly, green cleaning products to organic food products, mental health & well-being, and even AI and technology solutions—the range and creativity are truly inspiring.

During Oslo Innovation Week 2024, we’re excited to introduce and present some of our applicants (who are able to be here in person today), who have shown exceptional commitment to social and environmental sustainability through their project plans.

We’re delighted to introduce Arun Nagpal, a key speaker at our “Profit Has No Gender: Invest in Women Impactors, Accelerate Your Growth” event during Oslo Innovation Week 2024.

Arun brings over 40 years of diverse business experience at the COO, CEO, and board levels. In 2014, he transitioned to social entrepreneurship, co-founding Mrida (Sanskrit for “Soil”), a social enterprise dedicated to sustainable rural development and uplifting underserved communities at the bottom of the pyramid.

Through Mrida’s initiatives, Arun and his team have positively impacted over 38,000 lives across 75 villages in 9 Indian states. Mrida focuses on areas such as energy access, education, health & nutrition, skill development, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, and agriculture. Their FMCG brand, Earthspired, creates market linkages for small-scale farmers and is even studied at INSEAD as a case study on “Building a Brand for Social Impact.”

Linnea is a Swedish environmentalist, entrepreneur, and politician with a deep commitment to sustainability, gender equality, and social justice. She authored the EU’s first political report on climate justice and feminism, emphasizing the crucial connection between gender equality and environmental sustainability. Linnea has also contributed as a gender equality coordinator for the Green Party and worked on development aid projects in Eastern Europe.

As a former Member of the European Parliament (2014-2019), Linnea used her platform to advance progressive policies on sustainability, including pioneering efforts in sustainable fishing, demonstrating her dedication to both social and environmental causes.

In her current role as chairperson for Sweden in the G100 network, Linnea spearheads innovative circular economy initiatives, advancing her vision for a more sustainable and equitable future.

Kristin is a certified expert in sustainable entrepreneurship and a business coach with extensive experience in SEAM methodology. As the founder of SISU Business, she supports entrepreneurs with concept development and practical business guidance.

Previously, Kristin co-founded 50 to 100 AS and led Forandring fryder. She has also worked in IT project management at Canon Norge, developing management systems and working with ISO standards.
