We congratulate Bergen and Oslo on the top 10 position in the GDS index 2022 🤩🌱

The Global Destination Sustainability index is an annual measurement of how global travel destinations work with sustainability. The index looks at, among other things, how the travel destinations work with destination development and how the tourism businesses in each destination work with sustainability, climate and environmental measures and social sustainability.
Innovation Norway Reiseliv has been involved since the establishment of the Global Destination Sustainability Movement twelve years ago and was present at the launch of this year's GDS index.

It is gratifying to see that Visit Bergen Bransjenytt and Bransjenytt Visit Oslo climbed many places this year, with Bergen in a strong 2nd place👏👏 👏

Today we celebrate .🐬🐟🐠 Norway is a country defined by the ocean. As far back as the Viking time, Norwegian seafood has been one of the country’s most important exports and today we are the second largest exporter of seafood in the world. In fact, 37 million meals are served worldwide every day using Norwegian seafood. However, to taste our seafood at its finest visit a fish market or a restaurant in one of the Norwegian coastal towns. Or event better, take your delegates out to fish their own meal and get a top chef to prepare it for them. It does not get fresher than that!

Happy International Women's day!
Today, we celebrate women's achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality. 💪 Norway is one of the most equal societies in the world, but that does not mean we are there yet. A woman still only earns 87 kroner for every 100 kroner a man makes. The work for future generations is not only about justice it essential for the economy.
