657 Oslo sells coworking part of business to Crucible Hub Oslo
After 12 years of building and nurturing our community and coworking space at Fredensborg, we are excited to announce that 657 Oslo AS is embarking on a new journey. As of October, we have sold the coworking part of our business to Crucible Hub Oslo AS. We are confident that they will continue to nurture the vibrant coworking community at Fredensborg and bring exciting new opportunities for all our members and tenants.

657 Oslo will continue to support startups in a new model, without coworking. More about this during the fall. First, we will remain fully dedicated together with Crucible throughout 2024 to ensure everything runs smoothly for our coworkers at Fredensborgveien 22.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our amazing coworkers, colleagues and partners during these 12 years, with a special thanks to Innovasjon Norge and Margit Klingen Daams, Oslo kommune and Oslo Business Region and Siw Andersen and Morten Fraas, Heimstaden Norge and Tinius Ramsey, and of course to Sigri Sevaldsen, Anine Willums Karp, Preben Sander, Jon Aude Erichsen, Tor Haugnes, Silje Veen og Arne Medlien. An especially big thanks to all the fantastic people who have been working at 657 Oslo throughout all these years. Much love from the 657 Oslo team Pira Thiru, Sami Tekle, Ingvild Marie Glimsdal, Camilla Watz Johannessen, Joachim Levin and Anniken.

A PwC study in 2022 revealed a staggering fact: 71% of employees would consider leaving their job if they couldn't trust their employer. Moreover, 47% of employees cited fair treatment as the most significant factor in building this trust. Here’s why ensuring trust through fairness and other key elements is vital for every business:

Fair Treatment: Employees who feel treated fairly show higher levels of trust and commitment. This involves transparent decision-making, equitable opportunities, and recognizing individual contributions equally.

Shared Purpose: Aligning everyone with the organization’s mission fosters a powerful, trust-based environment. It enhances motivation and drives everyone towards collective goals.

Values and Identity: The bedrock of trust is often found in shared values that guide daily interactions and decisions, creating a strong, unified company culture.

Humanizing Work: Trust flourishes in environments where leaders treat team members as humans first. This means embracing openness, showing vulnerability, and ensuring transparent communication.

Behind every successful career lies a network of colleagues who play a far more significant role than mere desk neighbours. Here’s how coworkers help you in day-to-day tasks 👇

1. A Network of Support: Coworkers understand the pressures and challenges of your work environment like no one else can. They're the ones you can lean on when deadlines loom large, offering help, advice, or even just a listening ear.

2. Learning hub: Each coworker is a repository of unique skills and experiences. The diversity within a team means there's always someone to learn from, whether it's a new software tool, a project management hack, or insights into client management. Embracing this collective knowledge helps you grow professionally and strengthens the team's overall capability.

3. A Catalyst for Innovation: Collaboration is the birthplace of innovation. The exchange of ideas among coworkers, even during casual water cooler conversations, can spark new solutions to old problems. These interactions encourage a culture of creativity and continuous improvement, driving the company forward with its goals and achievements.

Understanding the value of coworkers is just the first step. The next step is to put yourself in environments that foster these connections. 657 Oslo is more than just an office space; it's a community designed to bring professionals together. Book your space now 👉 https://657.no/memberships/
