NEW BRAND ALERT! 💫YKRA (pronounced eek-rah) was founded by designer Balázs Lakatos from the basement of a bar in downtown Budapest in 2011, with the goal of creating a vintage style hiking backpack for everyday use.

Inspired by the hiking culture of 1970’s eastern Europe, the canvases come in a variety of vivid colors. Ykra´s mission is to inspire people to spend more time in nature and enjoy everyday adventures.

All YKRA products are handcrafted in Hungary, in Europe, supporting local businesses and creating meaningful jobs.

YKRA use natural materials that will decompose at the end of their life cycle, without harming the planet. They source high-quality leather from Italy, cotton canvas from the Czech Republic, and the metal accessories and webbing is made in Hungary. Photo: Ykra

NEW EDITION! Volume 458 is Blackwings tribute to birding. Each balanced graphite pencil features a gradient finish inspired by one of four North American birds: the Clark’s Grebe, Mallard, Green Jay, and Black Rail. The model number 458, the estimated number of migratory bird species that regularly travel through the United States and Canada, is stamped on each pencil in black foil.
