New week and some pictures from our ongoing operations.
Icarus 1 is well underway with maintenance of risers using Ultra-High Pressure and vacuum. A total of 17 risers will be maintained in this operation.

Beetle is out on the Norwegian continental shelf where it effectively removes old paint and clean the surface on the pillars of a floater without the need for scaffolding or rope access. Ultra-High Pressure and vacuum are also used here. For both these projects, in addition to the robots, we deliver an equipment package for cleaning the wastewater so that all old paint is collected in big bags and sent to shore, no pollution of microplastics or other harms to the ocean.

Hercules is in the UK Continental shelf where it will for the first-time dive to a depth of 90m, equipped with an abrasive cutting tool it will be used to remove suction anchors for a decommissioning project.

Achilles together with an ROV is on an FPSO on the Norwegian Continental Shelf where they work with hull repairs.

Together with Aker BP we developed RoboCoat. This is a game changer because it's a complete environmentally friendly surface treatment solution! Unless paint residuals are collected during surface preparation and the maintenance process, they will largely end up in the ocean as microplastics. From marine surface treatments alone, over 60,000 tons of microplastic enter the oceans per annum. RoboCoat uses robots, vacuums, and a waste-water treatment system - paint residuals are separated from the water and clean water is returned to the ocean.
