Courage in Collaboration:
Working Together for More Circular Value Chains
During this year’s ONS, SAR brought together customers and partners for a conversation on how we can work together to create more sustainable waste flows and, where possible, more circular value chains. 🤝♻️
This year’s ONS theme, Courage, is about challenging established truths, making bold choices and developing new solutions. For us, courage is also about collaboration: involving the right expertise earlier, sharing insights across the value chain, and taking a long-term view on new methods, innovation and resource utilization. 💡🔄
Circularity is not always possible, and never at any cost. However, we can prevent more waste, make better use of resources, and ensure that the waste that does arise is managed as high up the waste hierarchy as possible, in a safe and responsible way. No single actor can solve this alone. To succeed, customers, waste management companies, logistics providers and downstream partners must dare to collaborate more closely, including before waste is generated.
That is what Courage in Collaboration is all about. 🤝
During the event, representatives from across the value chain shared perspectives on collaboration, circularity and sustainable resource management.
