A brief insight on Blandan Enviro's involvement at the moment. A detailed post will be shared after the completion of the project.

BAFU is Switzerland's official life cycle inventory (LCI) database published by Swiss Federal Office for the Environment. The 2025 edition of the database has recently been made free. It contains around 11,000 life cycle inventories covering products and processes across 176 categories. This is a game-changer for SMEs, as such high quality environmental data is now accessible without the licensing costs.

We have been using the BAFU;2025 database with OpenLCA to model environmental systems for NAP Metric. More on this work will be posted soon.

Another proud moment for us seeing Blandan Infotech mentioned on such a big stage.

Venture Cup is Norway’s largest pitch competition for student-led startups. Our Client, Per Eriksen was one of the Jury members for the Final of the competition's 2026 edition. He took the stage to present his company, Nordisk Avfallspool, and mentioned how Blandan Infotech has been working with them to develop their tool for waste metrics and carbon footprint calculation.

Thanks to Per and Nordisk Avfallspool for introducing us on this stage in front of such an audience. It was a proud moment for us!

Blandan Infotech recently completed an important project with Netra News. In this post, they provided some details about the scale of the project and the technologies they use.

A big accomplishment for the company.

During the 13th Parliamentary Election of Bangladesh, our team had the opportunity to develop and operate a Parallel Vote Tabulation platform for Netra News. Over a 12-hour period on election day, the system handled more than 6.7 million edge requests as readers followed constituency-level updates and results.

To keep the platform stable and responsive, we relied on Next.js caching with Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR). This allowed frequently requested pages to be served quickly while still updating them as new data arrived. As a result, around 97% of requests were served from cache, significantly reducing load on the backend systems. Throughout the entire period, the platform ran with zero downtime. Thanks to the caching strategy, the backend was able to handle the remaining traffic without requiring a load balancer, while still maintaining consistent performance during peak demand.

Our focus was to ensure that election data remained accessible, fast, and reliable when people needed it most. We are grateful to have supported Netra News in delivering timely election coverage through a stable and dependable platform.

We recently moved to a new office in Bangladesh, located in Uttara, Dhaka. This brings all of our ventures operating in the country under one shared space. It is an important step towards strengthening collaboration and building a more integrated environment.

We are currently working on the interior design of the new office, led by Architect Chowdhury Ferdoushi Hossain Suhi. With an academic background from North South University and NTNU and several years of experience in Interior Designing, she is guiding the transformation of the space into a functional and inspiring workplace.

The remodelling is expected to be complete in the coming weeks.
