NEPSE closed almost flat today at 2600.78, down by just 1.13 points or 0.04%.
However, market turnover saw a massive jump, reaching Rs. 6.86 Arba today compared to the previous day’s Rs. 2.86 Arba — an increase of around 139%.
The major highlight of today’s market was strong investor interest in debentures, which recorded turnover of around Rs. 3.71 Arba, contributing nearly 54.12% of the total market turnover.
While the index moved only slightly, trading activity remained highly active, with more than half of the turnover concentrated in debenture instruments.
