The key stakeholders discussed about short-term strategies to enhance quality assurance regime for electric cooktops in a workshop organised by the National Electric Cooking Campaign yesterday. The discussion was lively and productive due to the active participation of sector experts, representatives from the development sector, the private sector, journalists, as well as the Clean Cooking Alliance, Renewable Energy Test Station, Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology, and the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre. On behalf of NECC, the event was organised by Practical Action, Nepal Energy Foundation, Vikas Yatra, National Association of Community Electricity Users Nepal, and Ajummery Bikas Foundation.
