CSIR CBRI Roorkee Celebrates a Milestone Achievement!!!!!
5 Jan 2024. CSIR-CBRI feels proud today that Hon’ble Dr S Jaishankar, Minister for External Affairs, GOI and Mr Narayan Prasad Saud, Foreign Minister, GON has jointly inaugurated Nepal’s biggest Tribhuvan University Central Library, 25 schools and 32 hospitals. The facilities were part of post earthquake reconstruction program undertaken by CSIR-CBRI in Education and Health Sectors in Nepal. This auspicious day marked the beginning of a new era of educational and healthcare excellence, under Post-Earthquake Reconstruction Program in Nepal funded by Government of India.
The event was attended by the dignitaries from Embassy of India in Kathmandu; CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee; Ministry of Health and Education, GoN; Tribhuvan University; CLPIU – Education and Buildings. The event was also witnessed by the presence of beneficiaries from completed projects, showcasing the impact of our collective efforts on the community.
CSIR CBRI has played a pivotal role in completing 70 schools, 1 library project, and 50 health sector projects. These structures along with basic facilities were planned, designed with disaster resilience in mind, and conducted strict construction monitoring which stands as a testament to commitment to engineering excellence.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the stakeholders involved in Education and Health Sector projects in Nepal, as these projects signify a step forward in the mission to create a positive impact on society strengthening the bonds between India & Nepal.
