Looks like the upcoming days are to be a little more interesting

Our co-founder, CEO Tiffany Tong, has been selected to participate in the Miller Center for Global Impact In-Residence Program at Santa Clara University this October.

In-Res is a highly selective accelerator that brings together impact entrepreneurs from around the world to strengthen investment readiness, fundraising strategies, and connections with mission-aligned investors and peers. Since 2010, the program has supported entrepreneurs across the Miller Center network in attracting catalytic funding and building long-term partnerships.

As part of the program, Tiffany will join a global cohort in Santa Clara, California, for a week of mentorship, strategic workshops, and live mock investor sessions, with virtual sessions beginning this summer.

For us, this is more than just a program. It’s a chance for us to build stronger systems and better opportunities for the communities we work with.

Hoping for a lot of fun, learning, and updates along the way...

Her work focuses on climate-friendly entrepreneurship, including electric mobility and sustainable agriculture. Sonika was named a National Geographic Explorer in 2020 and a United Nations Young Champion of the Earth in 2019, and is also an alumna of Singularity University.

Two days in Nagarkot, and honestly… what didn’t we do?

We went in thinking it would be a retreat. You know, some sessions, a bit of fresh air, maybe a break from the usual.

But it turned into something much more.

We found ourselves exploring skills we didn’t even know we had, thinking like managers, talking about the future, challenging how we see growth.

And then, just as naturally, we were back to being kids again folding paper planes ✈️, getting way too competitive in games, debating like it was a championship round, and pitching wild ideas at our own Aloi Shark Tank 🦈.

Somewhere between the structured sessions and the unplanned moments, something shifted.

Conversations got easier. Laughter got louder.

Because if you think about it, it’s never just about the sessions.
It’s the in-between moments, the jokes, the shared stories, the random realizations that stay with you.

Did we come back with new ideas?, yes.
But more importantly, we came back understanding each other a little better.
And that might just be the most important part. 💚
