Students and youths of the modern generation that find no charm in entrepreneurial ventures need to be introduced to the concepts of entrepreneurship in the very early days of their education. Including entrepreneurship in the curriculum is a step in the right direction and may set the tone for taking it up as a career. It would be good if policymakers thought along these lines."

Authorities need to invest in education to produce trained junior technical assistants.

Meet Dilu Singh, commonly known as 'Dilu di' in the Udhyamshala family. Since we started our co-working, co-entrepreneurial space, she has been the backbone of this venture. For last 2+ years Dilu di has been permanently living inhouse and working as the Housekeeper of this venture. She has been responsible to keep the property safe, clean, and well maintained at all times. During this time, she has always gone out of her way by exceeding her primary responsibilities. She has undoubtedly been the most humble and hardworking person in our entire team.

2 months back, Dilu di came to us, seeking permission to cook lunch for one of the venture stationed here. As soon as we heard that, we requested her to start offering lunches to all the ventures stationed in the building. We requested her to keep a tab of all the purchases made and food sold. And last week we ran all the numbers and found out that by only serving the ventures in the building and few ventures in the neighborhood, Di was able to generate a net profit of over 20,000.00

Uddhyamshala team has now decided that we will formally register a cafe under Dilu Di's name and help her stride forward in her entrepreneurial journey. Our ground floor will now be fully converted into a cafe setting and the cafe will serve coffee, tea, and lunches with a daily menu. And we are not surprised that Dilu di is again going out of her way and offering a "Food on Demand" service (with a prior notice) for anything outside of the menu.

Stories like these is what we always envisioned to create when we first started. Good Luck Dilu Di! We will be right next to you during your entrepreneurial journey.

BTW, the name we have come up with so far is Dilu's Bites. Anyone has a better suggestion? Best name will get a free lunch made by our very own Dilu Di.
