🌟𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬:

✅✅1. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐓𝐒𝐎𝐋 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐋𝐓𝐒𝐒𝐋 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭.
The Committee recommends that the Government consolidate the Medium- and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) into one list: the Skilled Occupation List (SOL).

✅✅2. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐓𝐒𝐎𝐋 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.
All employer nominated visas will provide a pathway option to permanent residency. The length of time to permanent residency and the conditions involved, may vary from visa to visa. For instance, applicants in lower skilled occupations take longer to reach permanent residency than more highly skilled visa holders

✅✅3. 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬.
Providing more flexibility for international graduates to gain jobs and work experience in Australia. This will allow graduates to gain enough experience to remain in Australia permanently through the General Skilled Migration program or the Temporary Skill Shortage program

The new system should be more flexible to adapt to emerging labour market needs, with consideration given to how the new system would integrate with other functions of government currently utilising the ANZSCO.
