NIRC was proud to represent as Knowledge and Documentation Partner for the Kechana-Kanchenjunga Responsible Tourism Meet - 2083, organised by Ilam Municipality on January 6 and 7, 2026, with the support from various associations and tourism entrepreneurs of Koshi province.

It was a fruitful event widely attended by diverse stakeholders - ranging from entreprenuers, policymakers, academicians, students, local artists and tourism promoters, including representatives from across the border.

We continue to advance our vision for generating and promoting evidence uptake in Nepal and beyond.

NIRC is pleased to collaborate with Action Aid International Nepal (AAIN) for the Baseline Survey of 'Breaking Barriers: Enhancing LGBTIQ+ Leadership and Representation of Nepal Politics' project. We look forward to gathering robust evidence as we will critically assess the current state of LGBTIQ+ political and social inclusion in Nepal.
