Important Notice Regarding “Price Transparency Week”

The Government of Nepal has decided to observe “Price Transparency Week” from 28th Baisakh to 3rd Jestha, 2083. During this period, local authorities and market monitoring committees will conduct special inspections across municipalities and rural municipalities nationwide.
Things business owners should keep in mind:
- It is mandatory to maintain a clear price list of all goods and services at your shop or business premises.
- Market monitoring teams will carry out field inspections to check whether price lists are properly displayed.
-District Administration Offices and other regulatory bodies may prepare monitoring reports and proceed with necessary actions if required.

A little awareness today can help avoid unnecessary hassle tomorrow.
