Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) recent press release estimated Gross Domestic Product at Producer Prices growth to be at 5.8 percent, while the revised economic growth rate for the previous year (2077/78) is 4.2 percent. Among seven provinces of Nepal, Bagmati province records the highest economic growth rate of 6.74 percent, whereas Madesh province has the least economic growth of 4.82 percent.
