Job opportunity for Java Developer

SnigdhTech is a company for developing cloud based Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) software, Management Information System (MIS) applications and providing specialized technical business consultancies. The company has been working with NGOs, INGOs and private companies through providing ERP solutions and business consultancies.

Position: Java Developer
Level: Mid
Experience: 3 years
Job Nature: Full Time
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain multiple JAVA applications
• Take part in software and architectural design and development activities with team
• Be involved in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Work with DevOps team and contribute to CI/CD
• Prepare and produce releases of software components and documentation
• Analyze business requirements and propose client oriented solutions
• Provide functional and/or technical guidance in evaluating applications systems
• Coordinate changes and prioritize tasks with business or technical department.

Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong skills in JAVA based technologies – JAVA 8+ features
• Hands on knowledge and skills in J2EE and Spring Boot Framework
• Proficient experience working with Maven, Jenkins or any CI/CD tool
• Deep understanding of data structures, design patterns and OOP algorithms.
• Experience working in micro-services architecture and RESTful API development
• Experience working in SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably MSSQL and/or Postgres)
• Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills
• Excellent logical and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team

Gross Salary: Competitive salary and allowances depending upon skills, experience and commitment
Other Benefits: 5 working days in a week, Holidays, Leave and Lunch

• Take part in software and architectural design and development activities with team leads and project managers
• Be involved in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle
• Engage in technical grooming discussions where you should be able to learn as well as contribute
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Work with DevOps team and contribute to CI/CD
• Prepare and produce releases of software components and documentation
• Analyze business requirements and propose client oriented solutions
• Provide functional and/or technical guidance in evaluating applications systems
• Coordinate changes and prioritize tasks with business or technical department.

Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong skills in Core JAVA fundamental, programming skills and JAVA based technologies – JAVA 8+ features
• Hands on knowledge and skills in J2EE and Spring Boot Framework
• Proficient experience working with Maven, Jenkins or any CI/CD tool
• Deep understanding of data structures, design patterns and OOP algorithms.
• Experience working in micro-services architecture and RESTful API development
• Experience working in SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably MSSQL and/or Postgres)
• Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills
• Knowledge of queuing and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ
• Knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and React Framework a plus point
• Excellent logical and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently
